Verizon Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean Factory image Released

0

It seemed like it took ages for Verizon to finally get on board and update the Galaxy Nexus to Jelly Bean. Some people never thought it would happen. We knew they would eventually though. Of course many of you running a GNex do so because you unlock it, root it and flash a custom ROM anyways. Still, there are other that got it because it was pure awesome at the time and you could get one on contract for a price cut. Win win for many people.

When an update hits, that usually means that a factory image isn’t to far behind. Google just released the Jelly Bean factory image package to build JRO03O. This is good news for those of you that know what it is good for. It is basically a set of disc images that you can flash to your Galaxy Nexus and bring it back to factory Jelly Bean, just like the update does. It is a great way to get in and screw up your device a little and have a way to get back to stock safely.

Head over to Google to pick it up if you are so inclined.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
