Let us not also forget to mention talks of it potentially being the base model for HTC’s Nexus entry. Which had names like the HTC One X 5 or Google Nexus 5. More rumors to stash in your mental inbox of plausibility.
There is still really nothing concrete about this device other than a few leaked images that we have seen in the past. Rumored specs have claimed a Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 4G LTE support (sort of confirmed here) and a 1080p HD resolution 5-inch screen.
So many questions come to mind when we come across things like this. Why would HTC jump from the Tegra 3 that they are putting into the HTC One X+ to a Qualcomm S4 Pro? Does the S4 Pro have better LTE support for Verizon? Sometimes these little nuggets of information get my wheels turning to much. The ultimate questions that is more important for us though is this, when will it be available and is it the base model for Nexus from HTC. As soon as we have those answers we will be a little happier and less stressed about the situation.
