A little more factory image love has been dished out by Google this afternoon. They recently added
Android 4.1.2 images for the “Yakju” version of the Galaxy Nexus, which is the non-playstore variety. The Nexus S (i9020t, i9023) both also made the cut this round too.
They also added a new factory image for the Google Nexus Q. Even though the device isn’t really out yet, those that jumped on the bandwagon when it was announced still got their hands on one. So this might be the saving grace that some of you tinkering developers have been waiting for. Don’t get to excited though, it is still just Android 4.0.4. Hopefully the next launch of the Nexus Q will be a little closer to Jelly bean or beyond.
For those of you that know what a factory image is, then please head over to Google Developers and snag the image of your choice.
Now, where are all the OTA’s for these devices. We haven’t seen them show up anywhere yet. Have you?

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
