Just in case you all missed it. Verizon launched a pre-order page for their version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Priced accordingly at $299.99 for a new contract on eligible upgrades or new lines. For the most part, it is just like all the rest of the Note II’s being launched across the globe. With the exception of the AWESOME Verizon logo right there on your home button. Cause you know, you need a constant reminder of who your carrier is. Like the big logo on the back isn’t enough.

If you run through the steps you end up at a page to select the device. In a very annoyingly bright yellow highlight they mention that it ships by 11/27/2012. Erm, that is way the heck down the line. That is just over a month from Sprint and T-Mobile launching the device, since both of those are available now. Heck, we have even heard the U.S. Cellular is supposed make theirs available this weekend too.

Of course that date could be a worst case scenario. It is possible that they will have it out long before that date, won’t they? We can only hope for all you current Verizon and looking to be Verizon customers. We are certainly going to keep our eyes on the dates and information from Verizon on this one. The release of such hot device nearly a month after the smaller guys is pretty backwards.
