[Kickstarter] Meet the Kit case, one case to rule the World

5

Have you ever run out of the house in a rush with only your keys and cellphone? Totally forgetting your wallet, your earbuds or any other number of little things? I know I have done it on more than one occasion. Christopher Manzo has done it more than a few times and has turned that frustration into a product to help him out and the rest of us that fall victim to it.

Meet kit. The all in one case that not only protects your phone, but also carries all the important things at the same time. In the rear compartment where the ‘Hard App’ will reside for your convenience. There are already hard apps for your earbuds, a multi-tool and even an 8GB flash drive. Not to mention a money clip option to hold some cash or credit cards. Future plans even have mini tripods and various lenses for the camera. Not sure if those will make it to the Android side of things, but we do know it is there for iPhones. They have identified over 40 other hard apps that they would love to be able to bring to market if the Kickstarter project gets off the ground.

As with any Kickstarter project, there is a time limit, a dollar amount needed and various pledge levels with different perks. The device options are limited for the moment. The cases will be launched for the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Note II, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4/4s. That does target some of the most popular devices on the market though. If things go as planned, they will be expanding their device support in the near future.

To get a little more information and help fund kit, visit their Kickstarter page. It does have some potential we think.

I am the proud father of three, 3, 9, and 12. I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S3 to the Sony Xperia Z. Having so many kids warranted a change of pace. Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

Guessing it may get better, but right now it’s ugly and bulky. Not only that but if stolen, then the thief lucks out with a cell phone, money/credit cards, earbuds, and hard apps. Seems a little risky.

Hey Mario, We appreciate the feedback – we continue to refine the design – especially with regards to bulk. Thanks! C
