Taiwan – Jan. 9, 2013 – PhotoFast, creator of the world’s fastest and smallest memory cards, has united iOS and Mac/PC devices with the launch of the 2nd generation i-FlashDrive HD, the first and only two-way storage device between iOS and Mac/PC. i-FlashDrive HD allows you to seamlessly transfer, view and share documents, images, video and audio files between a multitude of gadgets and iDevices without the need for Wi-Fi, network signal or battery power.
The fast and notably slimmer i-FlashDrive HD is the ultimate solution for memory expansion on your iOS device. It is the only flash drive of its kind to be licensed by Apple and compatible with iPhone 5 and other devices with Lightning adapters as well as 30-pin connectors. i-FlashDrive’s free corresponding application delivers the ability to upload, organize, edit and manage files across multiple devices, including PC, iPad, iPhone and more. Additionally, you can easily store and play music and videos directly from the i-FlashDrive, freeing up vital space on your iDevices.
PhotoFast’s i-FlashDrive features built-in music play from user interface, photo import from camera roll, contact backup protection, voice recording and direct input of files. The 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB models of the compact and portable i-FlashDrive are offered as a combo kit, which include both the Lightning adaptor and 30-pin connector for increased compatibility with Apple mobile devices as well as USB devices. i-FlashDrive HD allows you to manage all your data from, to and on iDevices with the ability to create, copy, edit, move, delete, rename and open files, among many other functions.
The i-FlashDrive application is a fully functional document, photo, video and audio viewer that helps users easily organize and manage files. Upon connecting i-FlashDrive to any iDevice, users are prompted to download the complimentary application for the app store. The application transfers files, securely encrypts private documents, backs up and restores contacts, records audio, organizes and creates music playlists, edits documents and directly streams videos via Airplay, all with Dropbox support.
The application’s intuitive interface makes it easy to navigate for all users, allowing anyone to enjoy its universal benefits. Whether traveling by airplane for a business trip, stuck in a remote location without reception, looking to stream movies to a TV or share photos and videos of a recent vacation, i-FlashDrive fits perfectly into any lifestyle.
“Our ability to access files, music and video on our devices is no longer limited by location or Wi-Fi connection,” says Jeff Galant, CEO of Smart IT USA, PhotoFast’s exclusive U.S. distribution partner. “i-FlashDrive revolutionizes the standard flash drive with its capability to stream music and videos directly from the external memory, encrypt private documents and transfer files between iDevices and Mac/PC.”
Additionally, i-FlashDrive offers backwards compatibility, working seamlessly when plugged in on the standard USB side with multiple operating systems including iOS 6, Windows XP/7/8, OSX and Linux.

Now, wouldn’t you agree that even though this isn’t for the Droidnation, this is a cool product, we need something like this, no question. Personally I think we should proposition the company to bring this sort of storage innovation to our side of the fence so we can bask in the coolness of what they have to offer.
