Verizon End of Life: Galaxy S III 32GB, DROID RAZR and others headed to Retirement

3

Looks like a number of devices are approaching the end of their life with Verizon. All good things must come to an end, right? After all, the life span of a phone is pretty darn short to begin with. Verizon is in the process of phasing out some devices that many of you picked up over the years and might still be loving. Not that we are too surprised to see this, it is still sad, almost like losing a pet.

The list outlines all colors of the Samsung Galaxy S III 32 GB variant, Motorola DROID 4, Motorola DROID RAZR (16GB, all colors) and HTC Rezound are all retired. Final shipments have been received and that is all that will be ordered. The LG Lucid has a little longer to be in the mix, but is scheduled for EOL on February 15th.

Verizon should be tossing out some pretty great deals on all the mentioned devices in order to clean house, clear stock and lock people into a new contract.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
