Sprint started rolling out an update for the
Samsung Galaxy Nexus that will push the device up to Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.The software version will be updated to L700GA02 and bring all the wonders of Jelly Bean that some of you might have been missing out on. Granted, many Galaxy Nexus owners are on some custom ROM, but we know there are more than a few of you out there still sitting on a stock device. What will you be gaining besides finally seeing
Jelly Bean?
Enhancements/Fixes:
- Operating system upgrade from Android 4.1.1 to 4.2.1, including:
- Redesigned camera interface and new Photo Sphere feature (a 360-degree panorama mode)
- Notifications Shade accessible by swiping top screen edge downwards; swipe down with two
fingers to view notifications; tap the notification to expand and take action on it.
- Lockscreen widgets to access certain apps without unlocking the screen; sidescroll right for
camera or left for other widgets (time and weather, gmail, etc.)
As with any OTA update, you might not see it right away. Sprint is expecting all current users to have the update available and installed with in the next 21 days. So keep that phone charged, check often and let us know if you picked it up.

Yeah quite funny when a colleague asked me did my Nexus do the same things as his S3 but I showed him my Galaxy Nexus Android version was ahead of his!
