Seidio giving away Waterproof OBEX cases for the Samsung Galaxy S III all month long, find out how to Enter

21

Seidio recently released a case to market for the iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S III. It is probably one the biggest cases I have ever seen, but it also does a whole heck of a lot to protect your device from…. well, everything.

The Seidio OBEX case offers you premium quality protection from just about anything you can throw at it. It is IP68 tested and certified to protect your devices from dust and water. It will protect your device in continuous submersion in two meters or water. It is also offers MIL-STD-810G drop protection. That exceeds military grade protection guys. There is a 4H rated screen cover in place that protects the screen from scratches, and all other aspects mentioned of course. Water proof membranes allow for sound to enter and exit but keeps water and dust out.  The back uses anti-reflective glass to cover your camera and flash to still allow for amazing photos.

Need some proof of these claims? Seidio put the case to work in a video that demonstrates its worldly abilities.

Yes, the snow scene is obviously not actually in a winter setting. If the case is waterproof than snow won’t matter either, or mud, or soda, or coffee, or beer, or showers or toilet drops. Just gotta get some of the other common ailments our devices face often. We actually have one sitting here that we haven’t had a chance to fully dive into just yet, but I thought some real photos of the case might be nice for you guys to see.

It definitely adds some girth to your slim lined device. However, if you fear for the life of your device, or just want to have some fun and know it is safe and protected, the OBEX case is a real monster of a winner.

The Seidio OBEX case is available for your Samsung Galaxy S III and iPhone 5.They have black available now with white on the way. The case by its self-will set you back $79.95 via Seidio , but we are seeing them for new on Amazon for $55 to $62 and used for around $35. Those exclude the belt clip holster. It locks in 7 different positions and rotates 180 degrees. Before you go running out and buying one though, Seidio is offering up free OBEX cases for the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III all month-long. Entering to win is pretty simple. Just use your favorite social network, or all of your social networks, to enter. That includes Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and at their blog. Each has a requirement and a time frame to follow. The image of all the messages to use to enter is below.

I am the proud father of three, 3, 9, and 12. I recently upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy S3 to the Sony Xperia Z. Having so many kids warranted a change of pace. Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

Nice case, but I would recommend the Pong Research Galaxy S3 over this. I read that the cell phones emit a non-ionizing form of electromagnetic radiation; radiation which can be absorbed by the tissues and cells which come into close contact with the phone. That’s why I did research and found a case that can reduce radiation exposure. I found cases from Pong Research, I read that this technology reduces exposure to radiation while optimizing the mobile reception. I was skeptical about it, anyway, I decided to try it, because Pong is the only technology proven in FCC-certified laboratories to reduce the exposure to mobile device radiation by up to 95% below the FCC limit without compromising the device’s ability to communicate.
