[Did you know] Samsung Galaxy Note II has ‘Quick Glance’, a wave of your hand shows you Information Stormy Beach 27 February, 2013 2 Comments The Samsung Galaxy S III, Note II and undoubtedly S IV, all have features and options that are so amazing, that Samsung can’t possibly spend an entire day showing them all to you. While the big ones on the Note II are sure to be Air View, Multi-Window and Share Shot, there are plenty more that even seasoned vets haven’t even really seen or found. We just stumbled across one that we thought was pretty darn cool that we didn’t know about. The feature is called Quick Glance. It is located in Settings -> Motion -> Quick glance -> Check this box. You simply, and apparently slowly, swipe your hand over the top of your phone while it is sitting flat on a surface. The screen comes on and shows you missed calls, messages, battery life and a few other key elements. How this is any faster or better than just hit your power button real quick is beyond me, but it is still pretty cool. Take quick look at SamMobile trying to make it work. Scott it’s for when your hands are dirty and you wanna check your phone real quick. I’ve also noticed that when you hold your hand over the screen for a couple seconds then lift away it responds much better.
