Silent Movie

Have you ever been embarrassed by your phone’s ringer or notification going off at a bad time? Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could set a schedule when your phone should be silent or even better, where your phone should? Well, now you can.

Silent! Pro is a fairly new app that lets you control your phone’s silent and vibrate modes. The app is straightforward, well laid-out, and the controls do exactly what they’re supposed to; it just works. Silent! Pro lets you set schedules for days of the week with specific time intervals. In addition to setting a schedule, you can also set specific locations that your phone will go silent. You control the locations by placing a pin on an overlay of Google Maps and set the radius of 100m, 250m, 500m, 1km, 5km, or 10 km. For those VIPs in your life, you can create a group of contacts that will be exempt from specific schedules or locations. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

About The Author

Android is more than an obsession, it's a lifestyle. My daily drivers are a Nexus 5 and OG Transformer; I've retired (and sold) an HTC One (M7), EVO LTE, and EVOg, all of which have served my flashing addiction well. By day I work for the man doing things in AutoCAD and MicroStation and by night I'm an Android Insomniac, always looking for the latest way to mess up my phone. In addition to my endless Android proselytizing, you'll find me working on my cars; rocking out on my guitars; listening to death metal; endlessly obsessing about politics, history, and economics; fixing grammar and spelling mistakes (defender of the Oxford comma & single sentence spacing); and reading up on all things science and tech. There's not enough time in the day to always satisfy all of my addictions, hopefully you'll enjoy what I have to share regarding one of them. For more about me:

Silent, at a particular place, time but with a white list of contacts that can still get through. Seems just perfect on N4 with 4.2.2.

Why not simply use “Llama – Location Profiles”? It has similar features, is for free, and has humorous facts about Llamas.
