Samsung Galaxy S4 Firmware China
Samsung just keeps making the lives of developers and modders better and easier everyday. They have started pushing the Samsung Galaxy S4‘s firmware to the KIES servers for at least the China version of the device. As the days move forward, we are sure more country versions of the firmware will be released. While this isn’t anything that the average citizen will get all that excited about, it is something developers love to get their hands on a poke about with.

The official details state:

Firmware Details:
Android Version: 4.2.2 – Build JDQ39
Build Date: April 24
Changelist: 465806

The more interesting aspect of the file is the build date only being yesterday. This makes it the most current build of the firmware out there. If you want to get your hands on the current firmware for the Chinese Galaxy S4, point your browser to SamMobile’s Firmware page. You will need to be registered with them to pick it up though. Happy tinkering!

On a side note, this will be the Exynos based variety of the device, not the Qualcomm version the states will be getting.
