Android 4.3 Spotted On Nexus 4 And Nexus 7

android 4.3

New versions of Android 4.3 have been spotted running on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. Previously we have seen rumours and unconfirmed benchmarks running the newest version of Jelly Bean, but thanks to at, the JWR66D (Nexus 7) and JWR53F (Nexus 4) builds of Android 4.3 have been seen in the wild.

According to , the “J” at the beginning of the build code designates that the build is of Jelly Bean origins and that the “R” specifies that the build is from the second quarter. Furthermore, the number in the build code is the n-th day of the quarter, placing these builds sometime between at the end of May and the beginning of June. Finally, the last letter of the code defines what build of the day it is i.e. D is the fourth, and F would be the sixth build of the day.

I’m sure we’re all wondering when Android 4.3 is going to drop, but news like this further suggests that it will hopefully be very soon. Let us know what you think about this in the comments below.
