There have been a lot ofÂ rumors floating around regardingÂ the upcoming OnePlus 3. However, the companyÂ hasÂ made an official confirmation on Weibo that OnePlus 3 will be announced on June 15, 2016. OnePlus 3 has alreadyÂ been certified by TENNA and FCC, and there would be two variants of the device, one with 4GB of RAM and the other with 6GB of RAM. The device will also go on sale a day after its announcement.
Also,Â OnePlus has announced itâ€™s â€˜The Lab programâ€˜ which would allow fans toÂ review the device before the official launch. The TENAAÂ listingÂ also revealed a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 16-megapixel primary camera, 8MP front-facing shooter, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
The phone will offer Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS on top of it. OnePlus also gave away 30,000 OnePlus Loop VR Headsets to its fans this year to watch the OnePlus 3 live launch event.
According to a leaked screenshot, the OnePlus 3 was supposed to be launched on June 13, looks like it got delayed. It is rumored to be priced somewhere around CNY 1,999 ($307 ) for the 4GB RAMÂ variant and CNY 2,499 ($384) for the 6GB RAM variant.
