OnePlus has finally announced its most anticipated smartphone, the OnePlus 3, as promisedÂ earlier. This smartphone was leaked multiple times and every smartphone enthusiastÂ was excited forÂ it. TheÂ OnePlus 3 featuresÂ a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display withÂ Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and aÂ full metal body. The OnePlus 3Â is priced in India at Rs. 27,999 and will be available from Amazon starting tomorrow.
Under the hood, there is a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor withÂ Adreno 530 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. There’s no microSD card slot though.Â It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. ConnectivityÂ features include dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS.
Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 2Â is equipped with aÂ 16-megapixel primary camera (Sony IMX298 sensor withÂ 1.12 micron pixel size) with phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, Æ’/2.0 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording.Â TheÂ front-facing camera has a resolution ofÂ 8 megapixels and an aperture ofÂ Æ’/2.0. The front-facing camera can record 1080p videos and can digitally stabilize videos.
The OnePlus 3Â comes with 3,000 mAh non-removable battery and the new Dash Charge technology that helps you charge the phone’s battery up to 60% in just 30 minutes with the 5V/4A charger. The USB Type-C port is placed on the bottom of the OnePlus 3. OnePlus claims that the new technologyÂ can rapidly charge the device without overheating it.
The 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storageÂ is priced atÂ CNY 2,744 ($416.41). This Smartphone will be available through open sale from tomorrow. OnePlus has also published the details of how to buy the OnePlus 3 on its officialÂ forum,Â making it easier for the buyers.
