There have been a lot of rumors floating around regarding the upcoming OnePlus 3. However, the company has made an official confirmation on Weibo that OnePlus 3 will be announced on June 15, 2016. OnePlus 3 has already been certified by TENNA and FCC, and there would be two variants of the device, one with 4GB of RAM and the other with 6GB of RAM. The device will also go on sale a day after its announcement.

Also, OnePlus has announced it’s ‘The Lab program‘ which would allow fans to review the device before the official launch. The TENAA listing also revealed a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 16-megapixel primary camera, 8MP front-facing shooter, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

The phone will offer Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS on top of it. OnePlus also gave away 30,000 OnePlus Loop VR Headsets to its fans this year to watch the OnePlus 3 live launch event.

According to a leaked screenshot, the OnePlus 3 was supposed to be launched on June 13, looks like it got delayed. It is rumored to be priced somewhere around CNY 1,999 ($307 ) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY 2,499 ($384) for the 6GB RAM variant.
