Cyanogen has released an update to CyanogenMod-6 for Dream & Magic. The latest version is now 6.0.0-RC3. The Google Addon has also been updated - MDPI-TINY-20100814) - to include the new Google Voice Actions features. Some CM6-RC3 features include the new boot animation, a fully customizable power widget, the option to lock the home app in memory, Audio DSP support, Arabic language support and more. With Google's mysterious event happening today, we have all been impatiently waiting to find out what is coming from our dear friends. Be it an international version or a stateside version, I haven't talked to a single person that doesn't love their Galaxy S device.  With development for Android devices forging ahead, and new devices coming out so rapidly it is always exciting when a new achievement is reached. XDA member scuccia has created a small file apk that you can install to your DROID Incredible that will keep the video in mp4 format. As it sits currently, your device will take the video in mp4 but then converts and saves it in a 3gp format. This format can limit your playability across multiple platforms, such as a PS3 media server. This will also save you from having to find a PC based program to convert the file into a format that other devices can support. For those of you who may not have heard about the new CyanogenMOD boot animation, you must be living under a rock.  A community member called 73v1n on youtube has put together a new boot animation that has to be one of the nicest we've seen to date. This amazing piece of work looks simply amazing when you power on your phone.  I downloaded the latest nightly build this morning, rebooted and the new animation is now included.
