Previously known as the Toshiba SmartPad, the Folio 100 has been announced by Toshiba today and will be coming in Q4. In an official press release, Toshiba announced that the Folio 100 will be featuring Android 2.2 running on a Tegra 2 based processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab is filled with many features that trump the iPad, especially the wireless printing feature. Wireless printing can print images from your gallery and even web pages that you're browsing by simply going into the menu and then selecting "print." The Samsung Galaxy Tab is going to be one of the hottest mobile devices of 2010 and this recent FCC filing reveals another reason why. Tomorrow can't come soon enough as Samsung is set to formally announce the Galaxy Tab in Berlin just before IFA kicks off on the 3rd. As you can see in the image below, it is clear that this Android-powered tablet is headed for Verizon. Yesterday, we brought you images of the Samsung tablet with a CDMA label above it placed next to a Motorola Droid X. It seems that KT is trying to beat Samsung to the punch with their own 7" Identity tablet. I'm sure everyone can still agree that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will blow this thing out of the water, but you can't knock KT for trying right? It looks like the O2 Dell Streak in the UK will soon be receiving Android 2.1. O2 confirmed that their Dell Streak owners in the UK will begin receiving Android 2.1 as early as Wednesday September 1st.
