When video games publisher EA takes on our beloved franchises, we can’t help but feel on edge – EA is currently working on several Star Wars titles, one of which is Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes which was announced at E3 earlier this year. While EA didn’t have anything to show at that time, it appears they are ready to show the first trailer for the game, which you can check out below:

As you can no doubt tell from the trailer, Galaxy of Heroes takes the form of a turn-based RPG where the player collects characters to strengthen their team as they please, and then level them up to make them a more formidable team. It’s a tried and true genre, and the game actually looks quite good. It remains to be seen whether the game will feature microtransactions and how heavy-handed they will be if they are there, but we can’t help but be a little nervous given EA’s track record *cough* Dungeon Keeper *cough*.

What do you think about the first trailer for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
