Amazon has just announced the availability of Redbox Instant by Verizon for their Kindle Fire tablets today. Owners of a Kindle Fire can head into the Amazon App Store and pick the app for free any time they would like.
The Android-based app can now be downloaded from the Amazon Appstore for the second-generation Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD models and current-generation Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HDX models, offering:

While the app is free, the services are not. You can sign up for a subscription that brings you access to thousands of streaming movies and 4 DVD rentals at your local Redbox Kiosk.
