Today, Alcatel confirmed that the Alcatel OT-980 will be available in May in the UK. Alcatel OT-980 is an Android Phone. And the shape and size of the mobile is almost similar to the PalmPre. Alcatel OT-980 is a brand new Android phone produced by the Chinese company TCL and introduced by Alcatel during the Mobile World Congress . The Alcatel OT-980 comes with following features:
- Android 1.6 OS
- 600MHz processor
- Sliding QWERTY keyboard
- Touchscreen that provides a resolution of 320×240 pixels.
- 192MB of RAM
In addition to the slot for microSD memory cards, the OT-980 also has a 3.5mm audio jack, a GPS and an accelerometer. I think it’s a good mobile with good specs. Alcatel also announced that the mobile will be updated to 2.1 within a few months after the launch in May.
