Actually, two commercials. Ads for soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S and LG Ally are coming to a TV near you.
The Samsung Galaxy S is coming to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint first and followed up with Verizon coming on later this year. Galaxy S as mentioned earlier, will be the first phone under the Samsung/Yahoo! partnership. Running Android 2.1, the device has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz processor , a 5-megapixel camera with HD video capture and is the first phone with Samsung’s new Smart Life user interface, identified by model-S designation.
The other device, LG Ally, will be hitting Verizon. Based on LU2300 design, it presumably has the same guts: 1GHz Snapdragon processor a, 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 5-megapixel camera, and Android 2.1. One other thing it has is a movie tie-in. Normal if I was talking about a Big Mac and fries, but in the case of a mobile device, it seems weird.

That’s not a DroidNinja find. All they do is syndicate other Android sites. In this case, that’s an AndroidGuys article.

Can you link to the source for the confirmation on the carriers for the Galaxy S? I’m really looking forward to it on T-Mobile! Thanks!
