This is a good news/bad news situation. One one hand, Verizon is no doubt very pleased at how popular the Droid Incredible is. Hopefully everyone who has gotten one has had any quirks resolved and are happy with their purchase. If you haven’t gotten a Droid yet, I’m sorry to say you’re at the receiving end of the bad news. The backorder date of May 4th, put in place only hours later on the day of release, has been extended to May 14th.
There is a bright side, and bonus, if you’re willing to use a third party supplier. Both Wirefly and Amazon have Incredible in stock and are selling it for $50 less than Verizon. Additionally,Wirefly has free shipping and activation. You could almost say it’s an incredible deal.

Can someone just state a date and stick to it – for God’s Sake! I received my phone on 4/29/2010. The phone is broken. I’ve been give 4 FOUR diffenent dates that it will ship! May 4th, May, 14th, May, 29th, and now I seen on Verizon’s Web site, 2 additional dates, June, 2nd and June 7th. Can someone please tell me when I will receive my replacement phone.
I called Verizon today and they finally told me that they didn’t know when it will ship1??. They have already charged my Cell phone over $600. dollars for this phone (Droid Incredible by HTC for Verizon).
Can someone please help me!?
