Hey folks ! Look who’s here, the Motorola Droid 2, aka Shadow. The phone is finally out of shadows, this time we have a clear photo of the phone. The people over at Gizmodo shared this sneak peek, discovered in a corporate Verizon gym in Washington. The phone was allegedly remotely locked, but only before the finder saw a text message saying it was unreleased.
So what we have now? Well, one thing is confirmed that this is the second Motorola Droid, and it will come to Verizon in June or July. So let’s talk about some specs, the gym employee who found the device claimed that the Droid 2 comes with an 8MP camera, and it’s capable of shooting 720p video, a 4.3-inch screen, 16GB of internal storage, runs on a Snapdragon processor (may be 1 GHz or 1.5), a HDMI port, and the Texas Instruments OMAP processor.
If you are thinking about the Android Version, then let me tell you, the next Droid will come with Android 2.2 aka Froyo (as you can see the image above it’s the homescreen of Froyo).
Thanks to the gym employee who found it and Gizmodo to sharing it with us.

Do you guys do any research?
How can that phone sport a Snapdragon Processor while it runs on a TI OMAP???
And i really guess Motorola is sticking to the OMAP since thats the CPU in the original droid …
Next time get your facts (or rumors) right!

I don’t get why you guys are getting mad. As you completely see it says “Source: Gizmodo” so calm down.

Also just pointing out, that’s not the Froyo homescreen but supposedly a new take on MOTO Blur, running 2.1 at the moment
Well, But the original model comes with Android 2.2
