First we received the rumor and then almost immediately had it confirmed by 2 separate sources that that MyTouch 3G Slide will be getting the Android 2.2 update. T-Mobile will begin rolling out to it’s own staff next week for the testing to begin. No news on when the update will hit the MyTouch 3G Slide for the users, but who knows, maybe It’ll be on there when you get it or at least withing a few days.

Getting this phone day one,already played with it at t mobile store,it kicks ass,sales rep told me it was gonna get 2.2 at launch or soon after.

The wife cut me off. I have just bought too many phones the last few years. After buying the MT3G in December I can’t buy this one right now. Gotta figure out have to make the extra cash to pay for it.

well, i have this phone and mine doesn’t have this 2.2 froyo update, i mean this was back in 2010 that this update was confirmed to be coming and its now 2011 and still no update so when the hell is it coming
