APP: Android Screencast: Control Your Phone From Your PC

Have you ever wanted to control your phone via your PC? This app, Android Screencast can do just that and more. Features of this app include:

  • Mouse and keyboard control FOR ROOTED DEVICES ONLY
  • Landscape mode (right click)
  • Video recording
  • Basic file browser

To Do screenshots follow this GUIDE.

Instructions for use:

    • Download the attached java file, unzip it, and just run it. androidscreencast.zip
    • Place it anywhere you want on your computer, it doesnt have to be in the SDK folder like the screenshot program.
    • Make sure your phone is plugged in via USB for a minute or two.
    • If you can’t get it to control, run the automount app or dual mount sd widget.

    I can’t get this to work on my G1, rooted with CM-5.0.7DS. I have the dual mount widget installed, Java 6, SDK package, and ADB DOES IN FACT see my device. What Am I doing wrong? I am getting this error:

    I’ve got this to work fine except for the fact that my ZTE Blade’s screen shows up as upside down on my PC screen. Has anyone worked out how to fix this?

    I am unable to use mouse/keyboard control on my honeycomb device..I
    tried for froyo it worked fine because i gave permissions to device-
    cache,but tried the same for honeycomb its not working..please help me
    with this .please revert ASAP
