We have heard before that LG wanted to launch 20 new devices by the end of 2010 and with their next three devices on their way, they might have a shot. The LG Optimus One, LG Optimus Chic and the LG Optimus Z are mid-ranged to high-end devices that pack a serious punch.

The LG Optimus One aimed at the novice smartphone user, will be LG’s lower-end device among the three. This device will be equipped with Android 2.2 and is set to launch in Korea this Quarter.

The LG Optimus Chic is aimed at the ladies and may be offered in more than one color. The Chic will feature Android 2.2 and is unspecified as a high-end device.

Last up, The LG Optimus Z is said to meet the tech savvy qualifications of higher-end devices that compete today. This device is to feature 3.8-inch display, HD video recording, HDMI out, TI OMAP3630 processor. This device is set to ship with Android 2.1 and will receive 2.2 early after it’s launch.

The LG GW540 with Android v1.6 is supposed to start selling in New Zealand in the next few days via Vodafone. Full Price without contract is NZ$399 (US$275-ish). In New Zealand all phones are unlocked. None of the three cell-co’s lock their phones. That includes iPhones…which are sold unlocked.
