I thought I’d bring all you folks a few pictures of the CM 6 nightly build I’m running. Kudos to the #teamdouche buildbot, very nice work. I’ll try and highlight some of the changes since alpha 1.
Previously I had problems with my ADWLauncher getting deleted from the settings menu, shouldn’t be a problem anymore with this new addition.

The new CMParts menu, with all the great new features (and classics)

One of the favorites from CM5

The infamous addition, Br0tips has been completed. Good work Kmobs

Some simple UI tweaks (Battery percentage overlay is back, another classic favorite…you can’t see it because I’m taking screencaps via USB therefore the phone’s charging)

Some custom options for the home button long press, I can see this becoming a personal favorite.

Performance settings, only one at the moment (for lower end devices I assume).

And the new incognito window in the browser

Drop a comment off and go tell Cyanogen, Teamdouche, and all the other contributors that have helped make CM what it is how much you appreciate their hard work.

the ADW settings usually isnt available when you install CM (w/ ADW built-in). They moved the settings to Settings -> ADW Launcher, but if you install any of @anderwebs flashable update.zip versions, it gives you ADWSettings. Hope that helps!
Actually on the new nighty’s / alpha 2 that feature is there, I lost the ability on alpha one to access Settings -> ADW Launcher somehow….
Great can’t wait for this for my Dream! Well this have the new apps2d as well?
Yeah it does, there trying to figure out how they wanna implement apps2sd on CM6 or just keep it the current way “Froyo2sd”

Cyanogen is a magician in disguise. True story. He and his team keeps whizzing up wonderful manifestations of perfection from the Android tree and never fail to amaze us with the grandiose of the CM family of ROMs. Keep em coming guys. So proud to live on the same planet as you guys. Wonder how the aliens on Mars feel when they update their N1s with the CM ROMs. Should look like this —> :@ *yazzaaa all hail teamdouche!*

I’m an ‘Old Guy, and still Cyanogen intrigues the fool out of me. I can’t wait to see it out here to use on my Nexus One. Waiting until its a bit farther past Alpha…
2.2 Rocks on my Stock Nexus! CM6 is going to be freaking awesome I’m sure.
Keep up the great work TeamDouche

I wonder if jit will actually do anything on g1 this time, besides making linpack scores higher
I feel the seem way, I actually wanna feel the performance boost rather then see it on linpack scores.
JIT can’t really be used in the G1 and MT3G/Magic32B. They just don’t have enough memory.

For an Alpha Version it runs better then many beta’s out there. Kudos to team douche

so you guys get that impression about the JIT stuff too eh? I’m running a very early pre-alpha cyanogenmod 6 port on my hero (and they said it couldn’t be done!!).. it is more responsive than 2.1 was, but overall the JIT stuff makes much less difference to the experience than I expected considering what JIT used to do for java years ago.
Seems like android apps and the android app framework are so efficient that we’re already getting close to jit speeds in many situations. that’s my wild guess anyway.
still, cyan 6 rocks and the team is amazing! great to see excitement about it for the higher end phones too, not just for my little hero (which still totally rocks fwiw)
