According to Samsungukmobile, Samsung UK’s official twitter account, the Samsung Galaxy S is expected to receive Android 2.2 in September. A spokesman for Samsung UK has stated earlier today that Froyo is currently in development and will be available in September for all networks. There has been no specific word for the U.S. variants of the Galaxy S. This is comforting to know that Samsung is working hard to upgrade the firmware for their device so close to its initial launch and you have to respect them for informing us on the matter.
