Google must have something up their sleeve as invites for Google’s Mobile event are being sent out. The event is to take place Thursday, August 12th, and other than “unveiling a couple of cool new mobile features,” the details do not go any further than that. The possibilities seem endless with what the folks at Google are capable of, so I think this is where you can let your imagination run wild in hopes of guessing the outcome of this event. In the comments below, tell us what you think is going to be announced. Remember, this is a Google Mobile event, so let’s try and keep our ideas on the mobile platform.

clearly google is going to announce there hostile global take over just think there are millions of android devices aka Google tracking devices they made top military technology they introduced Google TV they have the most used search engine learning what people are thinking about. Slowly Google has been taking over the world the 12 is there announcement for global conquest. PS try not to use your android phone on the 12th so you don’t become a Google slave

A sneak peak at Gingerbread and what current phones would be eligible would be nice as well. I’ve had Froyo 2.2 “officially” for 2 days. Where is my Gingerbread for crying out loud? What is taking so long damnit! (sarcasm intended here)
