IFA 2010 will bring the very latest in consumer electronics, including the ViewSonic ViewPad (shown above). The ViewPad will feature a 7″ display, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, front and back facing cameras and of course will be Android-based. ViewSonic also plans to show their beefed up 10″ version that will actually be dual-booting, which allows the user the option for booting into the Android OS or Windows.
More features of the ViewSonic ViewPad include:
- assisted GPS
- Micro SD card slot
- Bluetooth
- G-Sensor
- USB connectivity

We are still unsure of what Android OS and version of Windows will be running on the 10-inch tablet for the IFA event, which kicks off September 3rd and continues until the 8th in Berlin, Germany. For more information regarding IFA2010 click HERE.

Which Android tablet have you already locked on?

I’ve seen what happens with the Dual-Boot devices. All the retail outlets boot it in Windows (because that’s all they know) and only mention the other OS if you specifically ask…and then spend several minutes trying to get it booted because they’ve never done it before…and 9 out of 10 of them aren’t interested anyway. “Oh..That’s Linux. It’s not as easy to use as Windows.”…..they say….and they are usually wrong these days.
