Froyo For The Droid X Confirmed For Tomorrow

It’s official folks! The Motorola Droid X will start receiving Android 2.2 tomorrow at 12pm EST. Earlier we reported that Verizon had the update ready, it looks like Droid-Life has uncovered the above statement which corresponds with our previous notion that the update would be coming tomorrow.

Tomorrow users can manually pull the update to their Droid X by going into Menu>Settings>About>System Updates beginning at noon on the east coast and 9 am on the west coast. Along with Android 2.2’s JIT compiler, the device will now be ready for Adobe’s Flash Player 10.1 which we’re sure will brighten the day of most. Enjoy your Froyo tomorrow!
