At first glance, it may seem odd to lump together big-box retailer Sam’s Club and mall chain Gap. It’s not as though you would be able to find the same item at both establishments. The common link is, of course, they are both retail outlets where you can spend money, and possibly a big chunk of it. Now with a little consultation on your Android, you’ll be able to make the most of your next visit to either location with these two new apps.
The Sam’s Club app puts the store in your phone. In addition to store maps and location finder, Plus members will have access to their eValues discounts. While shopping you will be able to scan products and read member reviews. Does your Sam’s Club sit in a poor-signal area? Not to worry, as Sam’s Club is also adding WiFi to all of their U.S. locations.
Gap’s StyleMixer, on the other hand, is more of a closet at your fingertips. With the StyleMixer app, you’ll be able to view the Gap collection and put together outfits and accessories, including items you already own. Want to show off your look? You’ll also be able to share your designs on Facebook or StyleMixer Community.
Both the Sam’s Club and Gap apps are free on the Android Market. Hit the links from your Android device to download, or scan the QR codes below. Happy shopping!

Only Sam’s Club app I can find in the apps store cost $2.99, not free…now why would you pay for a retailers app at a store that charges you to shop there?
I double-checked and the app is indeed free. Try scanning the barcode found at AppBrain. http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.rfi.sams.android#
