As Gingerbread talk has been making its way around the community as we recently learned that the Gingerbread SDK would be dropping sometime this week and the first blurry image of Android’s latest treat was leaked yesterday. We’re learning now, courtesy of DigiTimes that Google has reached out to their hardware partners and stated that Android 3.0 also known as Honeycomb “will soon be completed” in hopes to have engineering prototypes by December.
CES is coming up in January, which we’re sure we’ll be getting first looks tablets from Motorola, HTC and some more Galaxy Tab devices in Vegas as CES kicks off on the 6th which wraps up on the 9th. DigiTimes has also stated that Android 4.0(?) “Ice Cream” will be launching in the middle of 2011, but of course details on that firmware version are unavailable.
