RCA Sneaks in with Android TV. Google TV or Not?

What do we have here! While we are waiting for more announcements of Google TV products at CES, the display on the RCA exhibit inside the CES main hall has a suprising label above a large screen LCD TV. The display reads “Android TV“. Yes, that’s Android TV and not Google TV. We’ll have to wait till the exhibit actually opens to find out more details, but it looks like RCA may be joining the group of manufacturers creating their own Internet TV products using Android as the base instead of the actual Google TV platform.

We’ll keep you posted as we find out more.
