Have You Ever Wanted to Make Your Own Theme?

Themes are always a great way to customize your device.We have many great themers out there. Some themes are a flashable zip for your current ROM others are themes made for ADW.Launcher or LauncherPRO. Anyway you think of a theme, there are always some slight modifications you would like to see changed. Well, with a little help form the xda-community, you can now get yourself started on creating your own.

Member, theimpaler747, has been asked many times how to theme, what tools are best and where to get started. Instead of personally answering every single request he received he created a thread. The thread outlines tools and links that will get you moving in the right direction. There is even a link to ‘The Ultimate Themeing Guide” written by Jairomeo, Manup456, ArmyRanger251, Stericson, Brandenk, SirMez, Beagz and david1171_. Some of those names should sound very familiar.

There are of course a few requirements for taking on themeing. The most important is time and devotion. Themeing is an art and can sometimes really get under your skin when things aren’t doing what you want them to. If you are ready to take on the challenge and essentially put yourself through school again, then head on over to the xda-developers thread and start learning.
