It seems that root isn’t much of a task anymore when it comes to new devices. Especially when it comes to anything made by Samsung. They have, in my opinion, really made life and root extremely easy.
If you happened to be one of the luck few who managed to get Galaxy Tab 10.1, then you are literally moments away from root. I almost feel bad for even posting this because its so stupid easy. Grab the ZIP file from the link below, push it to the device through ADB, reboot into recovery and run it. DONE! Thats it.
The only thing left to wonder is how the retail version will compare. Will root be that easy as well, or will Verizon lock down somehow. I have complete faith in the devs and if Verizon tries to make it more difficult then a simple zip, I know they will find a way around it.
