Call me a crazy, but this is pretty darn cool. It’s called the Android App Player. What is designed and supposed to achieve is essentially Android inside of the PlayBook’s QNX environment. It was discovered by N4BB via the changelog for the Playbooks update. The app is not fully intended for public consumption but since when has that ever stopped us before.

What is particularly interesting is this runs
Android 2.3.3. Which should make many current Android tablet owners irritated since so many of you are still stuck on
Froyo builds. This is still going to be some awesome software for BB users. Hopefully something like this will get some people switching to the Android too.
If you happen to have a Playbook laying around and want to give it a go, head on over to N4BB and pick it up. Let us know what you think.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
