Google Maps Receives a Handy Update

I know I am a little late to the game on this one, but just in case you missed it last night, Google Maps was updated. This brings back the much loved “Bubble Button” feature, custom notifications for transit navigation, and transit navigation support for tablets. Those are a few good additions to the maps that we all use so often.

There is one complaint that has been running around the web about the maps though, size. The Google Maps application takes up a considerable amount of size. Often times people are finding they need to uninstall other apps just to get the update to download. Are you one of those people that finds Google Maps to be a necessity, but find your self struggling to get updates installed?
