Well looky what we have here. Android on a Windows Mobile device, sort of. XDA member lesscro has gone and done it. He has put his skills to work to create a skin for Windows Mobile devices with screen resolutions of 480X800, like the HD2. The skin is built to mimic the look and feel of Ice Cream Sandwich found on the Galaxy Nexus. He has added in the animated unlock screen, incorporated the ICS icons and onscreen keys. The status bar is themed out to look like ICS as well and he recently added the weather forecast app into the mix.
Of course the back-end is still all Windows, but at least you can get a new look and pretend a little.
If you take a quick watch of the video demo of the skin in action, I think you will be extremely surprised how good it looks and how well it works.
Unfortunately the skin isn’t available just yet for you to download. Sadly you poor windows users are still stuck with your current layout, unless you already tweaked it out yourself. If you love the skin, be sure to go ‘LIKE’ Lesscro on his Facebook page. The more people that show interest the better chance you have of getting your hands on some awesome work.
I worked at T-Mobile for 5 years. I was the go to guy for Android phones and training. That passion didn't stop even after my departure from the company. I currently moved up from my MyTouch 3G to a Samsung Vibrant. A lot has changed in a very short time. I look forward to all the latest and greatest every time I wake up.

When we first say the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 it was full of oohs ans ahhs. It looked sweet with the enhanced S-Pen apps and that oh so beautiful screen. I know I wanted one. There was one thing though that would have prevente...
We know the Logitech Revue is not the king of the Google TV devices. That doesn’t mean they aren’t still worth something though. After Logitech decided to exit the Google TV game and dropped the Revue to $99.99, the...
Promises are promises. In the past, promises from manufactures didn’t mean squat. Take Motorola for example, they were supposed to unlock things a LONG time ago. We are still waiting, maybe now that Google owns them tha...
When Android first started to make its name known there was little to no information coming out from manufacturers and carriers except the next device announcement. As things progressed from Donut to Froyo to Gingerbread and no...

That’s cool. I’d buy a windows even if it had just a bit more customizations like “see thru” tiles so you could set a background besides black or white.
