Samsung drops source code for Galaxy S III I9300

1

As if the Samsung dropping the official firmware the Galaxy S III other day wasn’t good enough to keep you guys busy, Samsung has just released the source code for the device. This is really going to ramp up development for the device by the Android community. Yes, the Galaxy S III has only officially been available for 2 days and already Samsung is giving up the goods to make it better. This is one of the many reasons I have been a Samsung supporter. They are on point with the community and their devices, for the most part. You can complain all you want about a slow to non existent update pattern, but some of that rests on the shoulders of your carrier too. For all you code loving monkeys out there, head over to Samsung’s Open Source Center to snag the code of your choice.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
