The Android community is able to laugh and point fingers today, as news of iOS 6′s new maps app has been failing miserably. Yes, Apple decided to drop Google Maps from iOS 6, and go with their very own version of maps, just so they can step away from Google even more than they already have. Maybe they should have asked for some cliff notes when making their maps app.

Many iPhone users that have upgraded to iOS 6 in the past couple days, have suffered many (stupid) issues with the new maps. Bad directions have been given out, wrong business listings, and even missing landmarks. Yeah that is correct. Try finding the Statue of Liberty on 3D view. You will not see anything but the words “Statue of Liberty”. Other bugs include bad 3D mapping, which is funny because that was one of the main focuses shown off during the iOS 6 unveiling.
