Small OTA reaching T-Mobile branded Samsung Galaxy S III Device’s

We all know Samsung and the carriers have Jelly Bean headed our way ‘in coming months‘. So you all know that this isn’t going to be that update. Although and update is and update and generally serves some purpose. T-Mobile has released an OTA to current Samsung Galaxy S III devices that moves your software number to T999UVLJ4. Don’t expect a whole heck of a lot though it is still Android 4.0.4. The improvements section only list two bullet points.

Improvements:

  • Resolved Media Hub playback issues
  • Pinch & Zoom backend changes – No visible user  changes

I’ll take it. After all, it will probably be the prerequisite for the impending JB update in the near future. The OTA is already rolling out to some of you guys out there, it sometimes takes a few weeks for everyone to see it pop up. You will have the option of snagging it through Samsung Kies, but not until tomorrow morning. As usual, you will need to make sure your device has more than a 50% charge on it. Size wise, you need at least 50mbs of free space to download and install the 12mb file.
