I recently rooted my new SGH-T889 Galaxy Note 2 with CF-Auto-Root v1.0 by Chainfire. I seriously couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Once I had everything he told me to download, it literally took me 30 seconds to root my phone. I downloaded 2 files, unzipped, extracted and clicked my mouse a few times and that was it.

I have been rooting phones since the G1 days. This is the quickest and easiest way to root your phone hands down! Every time I check my favorite forums and see how far everyone has come. I’m still in amazement. I feel so blessed to be apart of The Android Community and I am so thankful for it’s Elite Developers like Chainfire.

Yeah I got a little mushy there with a tear or two but it’s because I’m passionate about Android and I just want everyone to know that what developers like Chainfire do for us everyday is sometimes taken for granted. I am really bothered when I read through forums where people are demanding things or saying how this sucks so I’m going to use this method. When are you going to be finished and release the update or new version. I’m going on vacation in a week you know. If I don’t have this before I go then I’ll just use someone else’s stuff! I haven’t a clue what goes through peoples minds?

We aren’t entitled to anything. These Developers don’t owe us anything people! You can’t be asking and demanding things. They have lives and families just like we do. They work extremely hard in their own spare time. Night after night, sometimes only getting a few hours rest and then share their amazing work with us! They don’t have to share their amazing work with us. It’s their choice if they want to or not?

They do what they do because they have a passion for Android. They share because they are good people and their parents taught them that sharing is good. Chainfire is truly an Elite Developer and his parents did a phenomenal job at teaching him how to share haha. He is a beast and is everywhere. I swear every time I turn around he has invented something new or posting in some forum trying to help out whoever he can when time permits. I don’t personally know the guy I’m just telling what I know from my experiences and what I have seen.

I love his work and I own almost everyone of his apps.I also haven’t had any issues with any of them. Even if I did I wouldn’t go demanding things. I know he is always one step a head of everyone and takes care of issues really quick. The guy takes pride in his work and I appreciate that is all I’m saying.

CF-Root has been available for many devices and has clocked over 8 million downloads. This is not even counting custom ROMs that already include it. That means people like and trust his work for all the noobs out there hehe.

Okay so for all you new peeps that just joined The Android Revolution. CF-Root is the root for “rooting beginners” and those who want to keep as close to stock as possible. CF-Root is meant to be used in combination with stock Samsung firmwares, and be the quickest and easiest way for your first root. Like I said before I think it’s the quickest and easiest way to root period. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong? (I’m sure someone will lol.) Everyone has their own opinion that I respect so I appreciate the same in return.

I’m not going to copy and paste Chainfire’s complete instructions but I am going to hook you up with the link to the CF-Auto-Root Repository. There you will be able to see if CF-Auto-Root is Available for your device yet. If it’s not don’t fret as I have this feeling it will be available before you know it.

This is highly recommended by Chainfire and myself! (It should just be common knowledge but things happen.)  Please check your device model! Settings -> About device -> Model number. See the third post for exact support model numbers. If your device is a totally different model, it will not work! (It may also brick your device so check and double check your model!)

Here is all of Chainfire’s links including the CF-Auto-Root homepage/repository. http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/BLOGG+(Chainfire)G+(Personal)TWITTERIRCDONATE

I recommend if you can afford it to buy this guy a beer. I have more than once because I love his work lol. It’s just the right thing to do to show your support and help motivate your favorite developers so they continue to make our favorite things!
