HTC One gets updated to Android 4.2.2, still uses Sense 5.0

24

htc one 4.2.2With all the talk lately of a ‘Senseless’ HTC One and the possibility that Sense 5.1 could be coming very soon, HTC has again been quietly brilliant, bringing out the Android 4.2.2 update for both the HTC One and the HTC Butterfly. And crucially for some, the HTC One Android 4.2.2 still runs HTC Sense 5.0, not 5.1.

Even so, the update does include some nice goodies for owners of the One and Butterfly. These include:

  • Showing the battery level % on the battery icon
  • Android EQS
  • Android daydream
  • Long press of home button can be used as menu button
  • Changes to app drawer and dock

For more more details on each change, hit the source link. A pretty nice update, though there’s been no word of when this update will be dropping for One and Butterfly users. Any HTC One ¬†or Butterfly users out there who want to weigh in on this update? Tell us what you think in the comments.
